Our Sport Coaching foundation year gives you the essential skills and knowledge to move onto degree-level study.<br/><br/>A foundation year helps you to develop the academic skills you will need to study at degree level. This includes note-taking, writing and researching. With smaller classes and lots of support, youll feel confident when you move to the full degree.<br/><br/>Youll also cover current debates and discussions in sport. Youll choose one topic as the basis for a project or portfolio. Youll engage with the content and present your own ideas in a compelling way. <br/><br/>Upon successful completion of the foundation year, you can move onto our BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching degree. You can choose to specialise in areas like performance analysis, talent development or health coaching.
