Our Geography BSc at Leeds provides you with the knowledge to understand the state of planet Earth and the skills to shape its future.

Scottish Higher

AB in Advanced Highers and AABBB in Highers, or A in an Advanced Higher and AABBB in Highers, or AAAABB in Highers. To include an accepted subject.

Access to HE Diploma

Pass 60 credits overall with 45 credits at Level 3, 30 credits with Distinction and the remaining 15 credits with Merit or above. The A2HE diploma must cover modules aligned with the subjects named in the A-level section.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

6,6,5 at higher level including an accepted subject.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

DDD

DDD in National Extended Diploma. We can also accept a combination of National Extended Certificates and A-levels. The BTEC, with or without combination A-levels, must cover modules aligned with the subjects named in the A-level section.

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

AAAABB/H2H2H2H2H3H3 including an accepted subject.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

GCSE: English Language and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or higher, or an equivalent English language and Mathematics qualification. We will accept Level 2 Functional Skills English instead of GCSE English.

Scottish Advanced Higher

AB in Advanced Highers and AABBB in Highers, or A in an Advanced Higher and AABBB in Highers, or AAAABB in Highers. To include an accepted subject.

Cambridge International Pre-U Certificate - Principal

D3, D3, M2 including an accepted subject.

A level

A,A,B

A-level: AAB including one of the following subjects: Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Design and Technology; Electronics; Environmental Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Geology; Life and Health Sciences (Double Award only); Mathematics; Marine Science; Physical Education; Physics; Psychology; Science (applied); Sport Science; Statistics. Where an A-Level Science subject is taken, we require a pass in the practical science element, alongside the achievement of the A-Level at the stated grade.
