In studying this programme, you will be exposed to business ideas and cultures from the UK and beyond. This programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), giving graduates full exemptions from their Certificate in Business Accounting and partial exemptions from operational and management level requirements.
From first year, you will be introduced to the problems and challenges of the business world and equipped with the skills and knowledge to solve them.
Specialise in areas of interest, through one of five pathways: General Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Leadership and People Management, Digital Business and AI, or Sports Management.
In final year, deepen your specialist expertise within your pathway developing a strong understanding of your chosen field. You can choose to complete a dissertation, allowing you to research a topic of personal interest in depth.
We encourage our students to work as part of a team and give opportunity to work with real businesses, gaining a global perspective through a vibrant international learning community. Analyse data, evaluate international contexts, and learn to make responsible business decisions.
Our graduates have the knowledge, specialist expertise, and practical experience to succeed in a wide range of careers or further study.
During your time with us, you can apply to spend a Year in Industry. Placements are taken in third year, returning to campus after placement to complete final year. Students who apply for the standard three-year programme can swap to the Year in Industry programme once they arrive on campus in September.
This programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). You can choose either the China Studies Track, where you will take courses from the China Studies Degree, the Creative Track, or the Entrepreneurship Track . XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.
