The Management School is amongst an elite group of business schools to hold the gold standard triple accreditation.<br/><br/>The BA Business Management programme provides a thorough grounding in a range of business subjects including entrepreneurship, management, operations and leadership, the chance to work with real businesses and the opportunity to specialise in areas such as marketing, football, finance and events management.<br/><br/>From the first year of study, you are introduced to the problems and challenges of the business world and how to solve them. By the final year of the programme, you will have the knowledge, skills, business awareness and confidence to succeed in the wider business world.<br/><br/>Our graduates successfully go on to find a variety business related careers in organisations such as Jaguar Land Rover, The Co-operative Bank, IBM, Home Office, KPMG, Microsoft, PwC, Santander and a range of smaller companies.<br/><br/>Links with Professional Bodies<br/>With excellent teaching and quality content the programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) with full exemptions from their Certificate in Business Accounting and partial exemptions from operational and management level requirements.<br/><br/>The third year of your programme is spent on placement. You will complete a year-long graduate-level placement, providing valuable work experience and an opportunity to further enhance the skills and attributes sought after by top employers.<br/><br/>You can apply for UK-based placements with a large organisation or smaller company or even seek a placement overseas. You will be visited at least twice by University staff whilst on placement with support from the Placement Team throughout and complete related assessments in May.
