Course Overview - Environmental Science BSc (Hons)

Our degree is designed to give you an understanding of both natural and human induced environmental problems. All of our modules centre on real world issues and application, such as food security, climate change, energy security, pollution and natural hazards.
In addition to bespoke environmental science classes, our degree allows you to choose from a range of modules in biology, ecology, physical geography, and earth climate and ocean sciences, so that you can shape your degree to suit your particular areas of interest and career pathway.

Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be ABB or BBB plus A in the EPQ.

For applicants studying A levels with English exam boards: Where a science has been taken at A level (Chemistry, Biology, Geology or Physics), a pass in the Science practical of each subject will be required.
