If youre a keen musician wanting to explore the exciting world philosophy offers, then this is the course for you.<br/><br/>This joint honours will also develop key skills in critical thinking, creativity and collaboration, and make you adaptive to challenges in the modern workplace.<br/><br/>Embark on an intellectual journey that blends the diversity of music with the depth of philosophy.<br/><br/>In Music, you will explore a wide array of styles and topics as well as the chance to progress as a composer or performer. In Philosophy, you will uncover historical and contemporary thought that has shaped society.<br/><br/>Our programme offers an immersive experience that encourages creativity, critical thinking and cultural exploration.<br/><br/><strong>Facilities</strong><br/><br/>For Music, we have purpose-built spaces to compose, rehearse, perform, record and experiment.<br/><br/>We encourage collaboration between students, joining up work across modules and getting involved in staff projects. If you have already achieved your EPQ at grade A you will automatically be offered one grade lower in a non-mandatory A level subject. If you are still studying for your EPQ you will receive the standard course offer, with a condition of one grade lower in a non-mandatory A level subject if you achieve an A grade in your EPQ.

If you have already achieved your Core Maths Qualification at grade A you will automatically be offered one grade lower in a non-mandatory A level subject. If you are still studying for your Core Maths Qualification you will receive the standard course offer, and also an alternate offer with a condition of one grade lower in a non-mandatory A level subject if you achieve an A grade in your Core Maths Qualification. If you qualify for a contextual offer, your Core Maths will be taken into consideration and the appropriate adjustment will be made to your offer.
