Contact the programme lead to find the most suitable modules for your development.<br/><br/>Available workstreams:<br/>- Breast Intervention<br/><br/><br/>- Breast MR Reporting (subject to numbers)<br/><br/><br/>- Breast Ultrasound<br/><br/><br/>- Cardiac Stress Leader<br/><br/><br/>- Chest Reporting<br/><br/><br/>- Defecating Proctogram (subject to numbers)<br/><br/><br/>- Hysterosalpingogram Practice and Reporting<br/><br/><br/>- Mammography Reporting<br/><br/><br/>- MSK Reporting and Extended MSK Reporting<br/><br/><br/>- Upper GI/VF Practice and Reporting <br/><br/><br/>Some workstreams can be adapted for paediatric radiographers. Contact the programme lead for details.<br/>After completing 120 postgraduate credits, you can proceed to the dissertation module.<br/><br/>**Modules**<br/>Our modules focus on developing problem-solving skills and critical awareness of your practice. You will be supported in implementing evidence-based practice and gaining comprehensive knowledge in your specialist field.<br/><br/>For your first reporting qualification, you need to complete at least a postgraduate certificate. The programme also encourages development across the four pillars of advanced practice, assisting with your application for advanced practitioner accreditation.<br/><br/>**Award outcomes/qualifications:**<br/>- Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert): 60 credits<br/><br/><br/>- Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip): 120 credits<br/><br/><br/>- Masters Degree (MSc): 180 credits, including the dissertation module<br/><br/><br/>**What will you be doing?**<br/>**Teaching:** The programme uses diverse teaching strategies, delivered by clinical and academic experts, many of whom are Advanced and Consultant Practitioners. You will also have access to a personal tutor to help you achieve your learning outcomes.<br/><br/>**Assessment:** You must complete clinical experience to meet learning outcomes and prepare for competence assessment. This is guided by evidence, professional guidelines, and external benchmarks.<br/><br/>Part-time students can study up to 60 credits per semester. Both the University and your workplace will provide guidance and support.<br/><br/>**What about after university?**<br/>Graduates often return to the NHS with advanced practitioner status and may progress to Consultant Practitioner roles. You will also receive support for applying for Advanced Practitioner Accreditation with the College of Radiographers.
