In the UK and globally, the prevalence of diabetes has reached epidemic levels, with projections indicating it will rise to 552 million by 2030 and 642 million by 2040, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Diabetes can reduce life expectancy by 6 to 20 years.<br/><br/>This course is designed to empower you to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, enabling people with diabetes to self-manage their condition.
