You will have the opportunity to contribute to a publication of your research findings and will also take part in a conference style presentation where you present your work.<br/><br/>**Computer science with AI is the study of machine intelligence, including bio-inspired algorithms, their relationship to living intelligence and the nature of consciousness itself.**<br/><br/>Position yourself at the leading edge of humanity’s exploration of what it means to be alive, and the creation of artificial intelligence.<br/><br/>Beginning with the same foundation as our Computer Science MComp, the degree gives you a grounding in the fundamentals, before encouraging you to specialise in speech recognition, language processing or robotics.<br/><br/>Develop AI applications in a team project for an external client in your second year, in your third year specialist modules which cover subjects such as speech and text processing, machine learning and bio-inspired robotics give you scope for creative and intellectual exploration.<br/><br/>In your final year youll continue with this specialised AI theme, youll get the chance to work alongside our research staff as part of a group research project.
