This course introduces key legal ideas and thinking while helping you build academic skills, confidence and clarity. You’ll explore law in context and develop the skills needed to succeed in degree level study and future legal pathways. <br/><br/>You’ll engage with real legal themes, from criminal justice to professional practice, through practical activities and reflection. Learning is shaped around discussion, applied tasks and teamwork, helping you think critically, communicate effectively and strengthen your understanding of law. This Foundation prepares you for the LLB and future legal opportunities with curiosity and purpose. <br/><br/>The Foundation Year in Law is an excellent opportunity for learners who want to study a law degree, but do not have the current qualifications or experience, to gain the skills and knowledge to progress on to the full LLB.
