Financial Technology MSc

Financial Technology (FinTech) combines the theory and knowledge behind capital markets with the technology that makes financial transactions more efficient.<br/><br/>This course teaches the big data techniques, computer programming, and analytics that banks and insurance companies are looking for.<br/><br/>This is a Masters degree that future-proofs graduates and students from a variety of backgrounds and are looking for a career in this area.<br/><br/>Graduates will have a good understanding of the fact that finance is changing, and accounting, business information systems, and analytic methods are adapting to the internet as a delivery channel.<br/><br/>The programme is jointly provided by the departments of Accounting & Finance and Management Science with input from Computer & Information Science.
