Spanish and Hospitality and Tourism Management BA (Hons)

Hospitality & Tourism is the largest, and fastest growing, sector of the domestic and global economies, generating over £5 billion for the Scottish economy. We will ensure that you develop the necessary skills to manage operations and businesses in areas including hospitality, tourism, cultural heritage, festivals and events.<br/><br/><br/>- Focus on contemporary language and culture.<br/><br/><br/>- Opportunity to study Spanish as a beginner.<br/><br/><br/>- Study abroad with our partners in Valencia, Zaragoza and Alicante.<br/><br/><br/>- Spend up to two years abroad – one on exchange to a partner university and one as an English-language assistant in an Spanish School.<br/><br/><br/>- Spanish can also be studied within the LLB Honours Law with a Modern Language. <br/><br/><br/>Ranked Top 10 in Scotland for Iberian Languages (The Times/Sunday Times University Ranking 2024).<br/><br/>This course is part of our flexible BA Humanities and Social Science Degree programme. With our BA (Honours) degree you can choose from subjects in Humanities, Social Sciences and Business, with two of your three subject choices taught by the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences. <br/><br/>The BA degree is a three year course and the Honours degree is normally a four year course. This allows you to try new subjects, develop your own ideas, develop a broad range of knowledge and enhance your employability. <br/><br/>You should only enter one of the UCAS codes on your application form. Acceptance on one of these subject codes will enable you to study any combination of subjects. Only one application will be considered.
