<strong>About the course</strong><br/><br/>Pursue your interests in theatre and performance, with the added benefit of studying a language.<br/><br/>Through a distinctive combination of practice and theory, you examine theatre’s historical, political and cultural contexts. You’ll discover how theatre has impacted on society and encourages new modes of thinking.<br/><br/>Alongside this, you’ll develop skills in theatre-making and performance analysis. You have the opportunity to use our versatile facilities, including the state-of-the-art Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts on campus.<br/><br/>Choose one language from Arabic, British Sign Language, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, or you can choose to study English Language Teaching.<br/><br/><strong>About Sussex</strong><br/><br/>Our courses, research, culture and campus aim to stimulate, excite and challenge. Extended Project
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
