You will study a combination of marketing and management theory and practice. And studying psychology will help you understand human behaviour relative to the business world.<br/><br/>On this course, you will:<br/><br/><br/>- critically evaluate organisational and consumer behaviour<br/><br/><br/>- learn about marketing strategy, international marketing, digital marketing and marketing analytics<br/><br/><br/>- get to understand brand and new product management<br/><br/><br/>- develop your understanding of key aspects of business, including economics, accounting and management<br/><br/><br/>- study contemporary issues in marketing, entrepreneurship and consumer behaviour<br/><br/><br/>- discover why people behave in certain ways by looking at their psychological drivers<br/><br/><br/>- prepare for the workplace while tailoring your degree to your career path.<br/><br/><br/>Youll engage with expert professionals. This will challenge you with new perspectives, ideas and approaches. And your Academic Success Adviser will help you with academic study skills. This includes critical thinking, presenting, academic writing, and note-making.<br/><br/>You also have the opportunity to combine different optional modules. You can explore what interests you most across marketing, management and entrepreneurship. There is also the opportunity to enrich your study experience by applying for a placement.<br/><br/><strong>Accreditation</strong><br/><br/>This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Access to HE Diploma
Pass Diploma with at least 39 level 3 credits at Merit or above including 24 credits at Distinction. The Access to HE Diploma would preferably be in Business Studies or include a Business pathway. You must have GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C).

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
DDM
The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma would normally be in Business. You must have GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C). You should also have a good range of GCSEs 9-4 (5 A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
Extended Project
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
