Students on this specialist knitwear textiles pathway explore surface pattern and texture for fashion fabrics through knitted structures.<br/><br/><br/>• Specialised focus on knit: Explore creative and technical knitwear techniques, blending traditional craftsmanship with digital technologies to develop unique textiles for the fashion industry.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Industry collaborations: Benefit from our connections with the industry and engage in projects with renowned brands to gain career experience and networking opportunities. Live project partners have included Adidas, Bow Arts Museum, Burberry, and Arcadia, as well as Charles Jeffery in conjunction with the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• State-of-the-art facilities: Work with industry-standard tools and technology, fostering hands-on craftsmanship blended with innovative digital processes. Access cutting-edge digital knitting technology for design and production, as well as semi-industrial hand-flat and domestic knitting machines, specialist knitwear construction equipment and hand-craft resources.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Industry placement: Benefit from the opportunity to complete a placement in industry, offering highly valuable real-life experience.
