Module leaders actively incorporate the latest evidence and clinical guidelines, so that you are exposed to what is currently being used in professional practice. <br/><br/>You are encouraged to work closely with research throughout your studies. From early exposure to academic literature and critical appraisal tasks to final-year independent projects, your will build strong research and critical thinking skills. Staff are active in the field of research and clinical practice and bring their professional interests and experiences into teaching, allowing you to explore real-world applications. This helps apply theory to real-life situations giving relevance and context to the topic.<br/><br/>The course also prepares students to think creatively and critically about the wider challenges to society. Topics such as sustainability in sport, ethical behaviour, and inclusive practice delivery are woven into modules, encouraging you to consider your role in reducing barriers to good health and rehabilitation services, acting responsibly and ethically within your professional role. Case-based learning and scenario tasks prompt students to reflect on complex issues and propose innovative solutions. <br/><br/>Graduate Attributes are embedded across the curriculum. Students become Knowledgeable through evidence-based learning, Professional via placements and clinical simulations, Digitally Fluent through blended learning and digital assessment tools, and Global Citizens by exploring diverse health contexts and inclusive practices.
