Our BEng in Biomedical Engineering is designed to equip students with the interdisciplinary knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on experience required to drive innovation in healthcare, biotechnology, and the medical device industries. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in core engineering principles, including electrical, electronic, programming, and mechanical engineering, while integrating key aspects of biological sciences.<br/><br/>Students will gain expertise in designing medical devices and systems, leveraging digital health technologies, and addressing emerging challenges in healthcare. The program emphasises identifying and solving real-world healthcare problems such as developing advanced surgical tools, creating prosthetics, and designing biosensors. Students will also engage in cutting-edge biomedical research, foster innovation, and apply ethical principles to their work.<br/><br/>This programme prepares students for a wide range of impactful careers at the intersection of engineering, biology, and healthcare, for example as biomedical engineers, medical device designers, R&D specialists, healthcare consultants, or in regulatory affairs. <br/><br/>Please note this is a new course, and will be published on our website as soon as possible.
