You’ll learn to use industry-standard tools like Computer-Aided Design, Data Acquisition, and advanced simulation software. These tools include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), essential for investigating and perfecting vehicle designs.<br/><br/>You will explore specialist areas such as advanced engine design, powertrain design, vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and electrical control. Independent and group projects will help you deepen your knowledge in these areas. These projects provide valuable practical experience, preparing you for a career in the automotive and motorsport sectors.<br/><br/>Environmental considerations are a key part of our modules, ensuring that you learn about sustainable design and technology.
