This course can either be studied at Wakefield College or Selby College. <br/><br/>This Foundation Degree allows you to shape your studies towards your career ambitions and build the knowledge, skills and experience needed to be a successful business manager in a wide range of industries with a specific focus on finance, project management or sustainability.<br/><br/>Each module prepares you for the working world by covering a range of topics that are common to business and management in an increasingly diverse market whilst also preparing you for progression onto the BA (Hons) Leadership & Management degree where you would specialising in either Finance, Sustainability, or Project Management.<br/><br/>The course is mainly assignment-based and covers a variety of topics commonly encountered by the business professional. Small class sizes and a high level of tutor support help ease you through this degree course. <br/><br/>This is a taught course where youll participate in a range of learning activities including online and face to face lectures, classroom presentations, research tasks, group work, exhibitions, workshops, tutorials and self-directed activities. Lecturers are educated to Masters Level or above with industry experience to support their teaching. <br/><br/>Through these sessions, youll develop the knowledge and skills to support your assignment work. Typically you will normally have around 10 hours of taught classes per week and will be expected to complete another 10 hours per week self-directed study.
