This is a stimulating and challenging programme of study that is both engaging and memorable for students.<br/><br/>The total qualification time (TQT) for the Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Early Years Professional Leadership for England includes a requirement for 375 hours of work placement or experience in early education and/or care settings and a Practical Reflective Evidence Portfolio (PREP).<br/><br/>The TQT for the Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Early Years Professional Leadership for England includes a requirement for (150) 525 cumulative hours of work placement or experience in early education and/or care settings and PREP, including reflective accounts, to be completed over the duration of the two years for a full-time programme.<br/><br/>Higher Nationals in Early Years Professional Leadership for England are designed to develop students into professional, self-reflective practitioners who can meet the expectations of employers within the early years education, leadership, and care sector, while adapting to an ever-evolving world. These qualifications also seek to broaden access to higher education and strengthen the career opportunities.<br/><br/>Teaching methods include academic, practical activities, real-life applications, and diverse learning approaches to enhance both theoretical and hands-on understanding.<br/><br/>Students who successfully complete the Higher National Certificate in Early Years Professional Leadership for England will demonstrate a strong understanding of the key concepts, values, and principles underpinning early years education, leadership, and care practice. They will also possess the skills required to work effectively across a variety of roles and settings within the early years education, leadership, and care sector, while securing a sound foundation for the HND/L5.
