Across three years, you’ll develop the creative, digital, and practical skills needed to thrive in diverse fashion industries—from launching your own label to working with luxury global brands.
The course blends responsible design approaches, marketing communication, art direction, and fashion styling with cutting-edge digital technologies like 2D and 3D simulation software to bring your designs to life. Through multi disciplined collaboration with peers you will tackle client-led briefs and participate in national and international competitions and hear from industry experts guest speakers. This hands-on, practical approach prepares graduates with a strong portfolio and the confidence to position yourself in the competitive fashion landscape.
In your final year, you’ll refine your specialism, whether in design, styling, or fashion marketing, culminating in a graduation project that reflects your unique vision. Supported by passionate staff, industry-standard facilities, and key industry connections, be part of a close-knit, inspiring community with the preparation of a professional portfolio for a career within the fashion industry.
This creative-industry-focused programme typically provides 16 hours of contact time per week across the academic year. Students can typically expect to receive 10 hours of taught sessions and 6 hours of supervised open studio time, supported by specialist technicians, and have open access to studios and workshops (subject to School opening times and availability). In the final year, students typically engage in a higher proportion of supervised, independent study, reflecting the increased focus on self‑directed practice and specialist project work at this level.
