Neuroscience with Psychology BSc at Keele investigates two fascinating disciplines to study the mind, brain and behaviour. Our Royal Society of Biology accredited programme\* is designed to provide you with a foundation of knowledge across leading areas including neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and cognitive neuroscience. You will be introduced to the study of cells and molecular biology and human physiology to examine the brain, from how it senses and moves through the environment, to the mechanisms underlying learning and memory. You will become equipped with a grounding in the key concepts of neuroscience with transferable skills that will help to prepare you for a career of your choice.

Learn to understand people through theories and topics including biological, social and developmental psychology, enabling you to understand human behaviour. You will explore how electrical and chemical activity in the brain works to control these human functions at a cellular and molecular level. Discover how drugs can affect these finely tuned systems and go on to explore how we may be able to regenerate and repair the brain after damage.
