Neuroscience with Psychology
Are you intrigued by how the human brain works and why people think, act and behave the way they do? Study the mind, brain and behaviour through core theoretical and practical learning to understand people and how human functions operate daily. Our Royal Society of Biology accredited programme* investigates neuroanatomy and neurophysiology in depth, whilst exploring the psychology of human social interaction, cognition and development. Neuroscience with Psychology BSc at Keele investigates two fascinating disciplines to study the mind, brain and behaviour. Our Royal Society of Biology accredited programme* is designed to provide you with a foundation of knowledge across leading areas including neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and cognitive neuroscience. You will be introduced to the study of cells and molecular biology and human physiology to examine the brain, from how it senses and moves through the environment, to the mechanisms underlying learning and memory. You will become equipped with a grounding in the key concepts of neuroscience with transferable skills that will help to prepare you for a career of your choice.
*Subject to passing your final year project and laboratory modules in Year 1 and Year 2.
