Human Biology is the study of the structure and function of the human body, looking at how the human species evolved, how we change over our lifespan, adapt to stressors, and how our biology and culture influence disease risk.

Our Human Biology degree is taught by academics who are active researchers with renowned expertise covering human population biology, global health and human development, physical activity and public health, nutrition, human genetics, and the influence of diet, exercise and lifestyle on health.
You'll be able to tailor your studies to suit your interests and career goals through a variety of optional modules, and complete a final year project of your choosing.
You'll also have the option to undertake a year-long professional placement or study abroad as part of your degree, boosting your employability and allowing you to gain valuable real-world experience.
