Ready to take your design practice to a global stage?
The BA (Hons) International Texiles top-up is designed to help you think creatively, work innovatively and respond confidently to global trends in design. You will strengthen your critical and conceptual thinking while gaining insight into global and professional design practice, enabling you to define your own creative identity and professional direction.
Collaboration and real-world learning are at the heart of the course - you will undertake design practice modules with current final year students, work on projects with external industry and academic research partners, and exhibit your final projects as part of our annual Degree Shows events. These experiences allow you to build professional networks while working in specialist studio spaces that reflect current industry practice.
The one year programmes offer direct entry into the final year of a Bachelor’s degree to students who have successfully completed a relevant HND (or equivalent), or who have completed the second year of a relevant undergraduate degree, who wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in design. You will graduate with a strong portfolio, industry experience and the confidence to succeed in today’s rapidly-evolving global design sector.
