Our BA (Hons) Multimedia Journalism course is geared towards inquiring and creative thinkers seeking a career in journalism and the media communications industries. This vocationally focussed course provides you with practical training to equip you with high level multimedia, digital production skills, so that you are ready for employment in the fast-paced media industry.
Throughout this hands-on course you will be provided with co-curricular opportunities to work on live events and current affairs, both nationally and internationally, gaining experience of working to professional deadlines.
You will have access to high-spec, industry-standard television and radio studios, a newsroom, edit suites and public-facing digital platforms, enabling you to develop a real-world portfolio of journalism to showcase your work to prospective employers.
You'll be taught by a team of experienced journalists with many years' industry experience and excellent links to major media players including magazines, news organisations, broadcasters and digital publishers. This ensures what is taught on the course is informed by and responsive to the latest trends and developments in the rapidly evolving digital space.
