By integrating management theory with practical application, our sports marketing management degree equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the sport, recreation, and leisure industries. Throughout the programme, you will be encouraged to think creatively and bring your own ideas to tackle real-world business challenges, from running recruitment campaigns and managing events to developing marketing strategies and conducting market research.
In your first year, you will explore the fundamentals of the sports marketing industry. During your second year, you will build on these foundations, focusing on enterprise, data collection and analysis, digital skills including AI, and effective decision-making. In your final year, you will apply your learning through end-to-end campaign planning, sponsorship analysis, and professional workplace scenarios, preparing you for the realities of the industry.
