Criminology, Policing and Criminal Law Foundation Degree in Science - FdSc

This Criminology, Policing and Criminal Law Foundation Degree will provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for working within a variety of roles within the criminal justice system. 

Throughout the programme you will have the opportunity to explore different disciplines (both theoretically and practically) including policing, youth justice, prison services and the criminal prosecution service.

You will learn in simulations rooms, and be immersed in virtual reality as part of your studies and benefit from hearing first-hand experiences from guest speakers including the probation service, British Transport Police, and third-sector charity provision. 

The linking of theory and practice is integrated throughout this programme. You will be expected to engage in comprehensive research and demonstrate your ability to apply theoretical influences to work-based practices. After you have completed your FdSc in Criminology, Policing And Criminal Law you will have the opportunity to progress onto one of our BSc top-up programmes where you can specialise in a specific criminal justice field.
