Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs):\
Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are new or redesigned Level 4 and 5 qualifications (such as HNCs and HNDs) that have been approved against occupational standards in their sector. These qualifications have been developed by UK awarding bodies, working with employers and businesses to make sure that students get the specific training, knowledge and skills they need for their chosen career.

Assessment:\
Assessment is continuous, providing a range of evidence of your learning. A variety of traditional and innovative methods are employed including written assignments, practical assessments, individual and group projects, case studies, work-based learning and presentations.

Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Modern Methods of Construction for England (HTQ) - awarded by Pearson Edexcel (subject to approval).

UCAS Tariff
You’ll need a minimum of 48 UCAS points from: • At least two A Levels at A2 • Level 3 BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma • International Baccalaureate • Access to HE Diploma • T levels Other combinations of qualifications and experience will also be considered, as will Level 3 qualifications not currently listed on the UCAS tariff. GCSE English Language and Maths passes at Grades 9 to 4 (previously A* to C) are required. As an equivalent, we expect applicants to be working at (or to demonstrate their competency at) Level 2 or above in English/literacy and Maths/numeracy. Mature applicants with relevant industrial experience - but without the standard educational requirements - are encouraged to apply. Applicants will be considered based on skills and experience and may be invited to an informal interview to assess their ability to successfully complete the course.
