Our Aesthetics FdA degree offers a science-led exploration of the principles behind the growing field of non-surgical aesthetics. With a strong focus on theory alongside practical application, you will develop the scientific knowledge and professional skills needed for a career in the aesthetics industry.
You will explore skincare science, skin health, ageing, ethics and the physiological processes behind aesthetic treatments, with insight into applications such as laser and light technologies and chemical peels. You will also develop a critical, research-led understanding of the industry.
Connect with industry professionals through guest lectures, conferences, mentorship, networking and educational trips, subject to visa requirements, helping you stay informed about industry developments.
With optional pathways to tailor your studies, you will graduate with the knowledge, transferable skills and professional insight to pursue industry roles or run your own clinic.

FACILITIES\
You will develop a range of skills on campus in our aesthetics suite. We have three purpose-built laser rooms, over 30 private treatment rooms, a designated retail space and three consultation rooms with access to a range of comprehensive client management and analysis software as well as a social media hub to develop your digital skills.
PLACEMENTS\
Our course includes the option to undertake a 48-week work placement after your second year. You will not incur any tuition fees during the placement.
