Through a blend of university-based study and extensive school placements across the South East, you’ll build practical classroom confidence while developing a strong understanding of pedagogy, curriculum design and inclusive teaching. You’ll also explore key contemporary issues such as cognitive science, SEND, and the role of education in promoting equality, social justice and global citizenship.
Choosing Physical Education as a specialist module will enable you to explore the role of physical activity in children’s health, wellbeing and overall development. You will gain practical experience in planning and delivering inclusive PE lessons, alongside developing your understanding of movement skills, teamwork and sports pedagogy.
