Our Primary Education with Inclusion and SEND Specialism degree is designed to give you real-world experience from day one. You’ll explore how to recognise and remove barriers to learning, gaining the confidence and expertise to teach children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across both mainstream and specialist settings. \
With 24 weeks of school placements—including opportunities in Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and special schools—you’ll apply your learning in real classrooms, preparing you to meet the needs of every child from your very first class. \
You’ll join a supportive learning community and be guided by expert tutors who are passionate about inclusive education. Our student-centred approach includes dynamic seminars, debates, roleplay, and case studies that challenge your thinking and build your confidence. \
Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED (2023), this course empowers you to become a compassionate, skilled, and adaptable teacher.
