Anatomical Sciences Bachelor of Science (with Honours) - BSc (Hons)

Anatomical Sciences is the study of the human body’s structure and how its organs and tissues are connected. It looks at anatomy at two levels: 

* Gross anatomy: studying whole organs

* Microscopic anatomy: examining tissues (histology)

This course covers the human body from early development to adulthood. You will also take part in full-body dissections using Thiel-embalmed cadavers.

This hands-on experience helps you understand anatomy in a practical way. In your final year, you will complete a research project on a topic in anatomical sciences.

The course combines theory and practical skills. This means you will gain both knowledge and hands-on experience.
