Over four years of study you will take a range of courses from both the Law School and the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures.<br/><br/>The joint LLB Law and Spanish aims to promote advanced knowledge and understanding of the theory, concepts and rules of law. It also gives you the opportunity to gain a professional standard of Spanish. <br/><br/>In addition to intensive language training, you will explore Spanish-language literature, film, poetry, and theatre from around the world in their historical context. You will learn how to discern different varieties and registers of Spanish and gain crucial intercultural competencies. <br/><br/>The programme includes a compulsory year abroad in Year 3 at an institution which teaches in Spanish. This offers you the chance to have a culturally immersive experience in another country while also developing your legal and language skills.
