Why Acting?
Our Acting degree develops your practical and theoretical skills across the full spectrum of theatre, from classical acting to TV and film, physical theatre to contemporary digital performance. <strong>Why Acting?</strong><br/>Our Acting degree develops your practical and theoretical skills across the full spectrum of theatre, from classical acting to TV and film, physical theatre to contemporary digital performance. You’ll gain hands-on experience in acting, devising, improvisation, stage and screen techniques, and working with digital media.<br/><br/>Based in our purpose-built Performing Arts Centre, you’ll learn from tutors who have worked in TV, film, and with the Royal Shakespeare Company, alongside visiting industry professionals from the BBC and theatre. The course offers pathways for actors, drama practitioners, and teachers, with opportunities to perform at venues such as Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre, Hailes Abbey, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as optional international study trips to New York and Berlin.
