<strong>Why Business and Management (Human resource management) BA (Hons)</strong><br/>The global workplace is evolving rapidly, driven by legislative change, ethical expectations, and shifting employee needs, with organisations increasingly relying on data-driven HR decision-making. <br/><br/>In your first year, you will develop core leadership and management skills alongside at least 3 hours of weekly in-class learning per module, combining lectures with interactive small-group seminars and real-world activities that bring learning to life. These sessions encourage collaboration, discussion, and application of key concepts, helping you build confidence and deepen your understanding, supported by small class sizes, expert lecturers, and a Personal Tutor. <br/>In your second year, you will specialise in HRM through modules covering professional and ethical people practice, data insights, and courage and influence in a digital workplace, with eligibility for Associate Membership of the CIPD. <br/><br/>The final year focuses on managing people, leading change, and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, while developing strategies for sustainable organisational improvement. Alongside your studies, you will engage with guest speakers from organisations such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ecotricity, CIPD, and Enterprise Mobility, as well as networking events, field trips, and student societies.
