They contribute to illness prevention, promote health and wellbeing, design and implement interventions, and help shape policies and systems that affect healthcare.<br/><br/>Within your degree, you’ll explore a wide range of theory and knowledge to underpin your understanding of psychology in physical and mental health contexts. The course takes an applied perspective, allowing you to see how psychological principles are used to address real-world health and wellbeing challenges.<br/><br/><strong>Why a placement?</strong><br/>In the second year of the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to gain professional experience through a mini placement.
