<strong>Why Psychology, Health and Wellbeing?</strong><br/>This course ‘tops up’ your previous qualifications to a BSc (Hons) degree and provides a stepping stone into psychology-related professions.<br/>We teach alternative, ‘critical’ perspectives in psychology, alongside the established theories.<br/>We have a strong basis in qualitative methods as well as quantitative, and you’ll be taught by experts in both. Nothing is taken for granted – we encourage you to question existing knowledge and to consider new approaches.<br/>Real-world focus - Our psychology syllabus emphasises real-world knowledge and the application of psychology in everyday and professional settings.<br/>From evaluating psychology claims on social media to understanding the role of clinical psychologists, we encourage you to look outside the textbooks to understand psychology’s role in the world.<br/>Excellent student support - UoG is a friendly community where student support is a top priority.
