Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics, Year in Industry Bachelor of Science (with Honours) - BSc (Hons)

Graduates of this programme will have a strong understanding of how organisations operate and how to use AI and analytics to help businesses make good decisions.

Explore both artificial intelligence (AI) and business analytics as key areas that use data to support decision making. Understand the differences between these areas with business analytics using past and present data to understand business performance and AI using data to create systems that can learn and act independently.

Learn how organisations operate and how data and AI technologies can be used strategically to enhance business performance. The focus of this programme is on the application of these key areas, rather than the technical system development.

In third year, you will complete a year-long graduate-level placement, providing valuable work experience and an opportunity to further enhance the skills and attributes sought after by top employers.

You can apply for placements with a large organisation or smaller company. You will be supported by university staff whilst on placement and complete related assessments in May.

his programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). You can choose either the China Studies Track, where you will take courses from the China Studies Degree, the Creative Track, or the Entrepreneurship Track . XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.
