This subject component allows students to develop Chinese language skills (whether from beginner or A level standard) to proficiency level, as well as introducing them to a range of aspects of Chinese studies through historical, cultural and transnational study to practical, digital and mediation skills.

Extended Project

Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and 3 A levels and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade B in the EPQ, for example the offer would be ABB with a grade A in English or ABC with a grade A in English, plus B in the EPQ.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

32 points overall with no score less than 4 and including 6 in HL English (either Language or Literature) or pass the IB Diploma plus 6,5,5 in 3 HL subjects including 6 in HL English (either Language or Literature)

WJEC Level 3 Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales
