If you are interested in environmental issues and like the idea of addressing problems on global and local scales, then this is the programme for you.
This programme is accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) for the purpose of recognising the delivery of geographical knowledge, understanding, skills, approaches and attributes expected of high quality geography graduates.
This programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). You can choose either the China Studies Track, where you will take courses from the China Studies Degree, the Creative Track, or the Entrepreneurship Track . XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.

Including Geography or another science subject to at least AS level at grade B. Acceptable science subjects are: Applied ICT; Biology (and Human Biology); Chemistry; Computer Science; Economics; Electronics; Environmental Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Geology; ICT; Life and Health Sciences; Mathematics; Psychology; Physics; Statistics For applicants studying A levels with English exam boards: Where a science has been taken at A level (Chemistry, Biology, Geology or Physics), a pass in the Science practical of each subject will be required. Some Level 3 qualifications are only acceptable alongside 2 or 3 A levels, please contact us for details.

Extended Project
Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and 3 A levels and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be ABB including Geography or BBB including Geography plus A in the EPQ.
