Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) - BA (Hons)

Film, television and digital media shape how we discover stories, ideas and experiences every day. If you want to create the content people watch, share and talk about, this course will help you develop the skills to bring your ideas to life.

You'll learn by making. From short films and documentaries to TV studio productions and digital content, you'll gain hands-on experience across the creative production process. As you develop your skills, you'll explore directing, editing, scriptwriting, camerawork, sound and production while building a portfolio of work that showcases your creativity and technical ability.

At Northampton, you'll have access to professional broadcast equipment, TV studios, editing facilities and Adobe Creative Suite, giving you the opportunity to work with the tools used throughout the industry. You'll learn from experienced academics and industry practitioners while taking part in masterclasses and practical projects that reflect real-world creative production.

You can tailor your degree around the areas that interest you most, whether that's filmmaking, broadcasting, documentary production, scriptwriting, digital content or creative video. Through live client briefs and collaborative projects, you'll gain experience of working to professional standards while developing the confidence to communicate and pitch ideas effectively.
