You’ll study in the brand-new £3m Three Counties Dental School and Gloucestershire Dental Treatment Hub at our Gloucester City Campus, the facility will provide modern dental training environments alongside community NHS dental services, giving you valuable real-world clinical experience.
In Year 1, you’ll build strong foundations in oral anatomy, physiology, oral health promotion, professionalism and evidence-based practice, while developing practical skills in simulated clinical settings.
Year 2 focuses on advancing your clinical knowledge and treatment skills, including periodontal care, dental radiography and treatment planning, with increasing patient contact in clinical settings.
In your final year, you’ll refine advanced clinical and leadership skills through external placements, managing more complex patient cases and completing a dissertation to prepare for professional practice.
